Through the National Treasures and the Important Cultural Properties in temple collections from the Higashi and Nishi Honganji, and the respective head temples of the ten schools of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism, visitors will be able to consider 'Shinran's Teachings and Life,' 'The Development of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism,' and the 'Transmitted Treasures and Art of the Respective Schools.' Including the National Treasure 'Kyogyoshinsho – Bandobon (Teaching, Practice, Faith, Enlightenment)' along with nine other National Treasures and 36 Important Cultural Properties, approximately 130 works will be exhibited.
