New Member Cities : Oct. 14 , 2009

The Board of Directors of the League of Historical Cities has approved four historical cities as new member cities of theLeague : Constanta (Romania) , Kanazawa (Japan), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Veliko Turnovo (Bulgaria) . The League of Historical Cities enlarged themembership to 84 cities from 55 countries.

The Board of Directors of the League of Historical Cities has approved two historical cities as new member cities of theLeague : Nis(Serbia) and Yangzhou (China) . The League of Historical Cities enlarged themembership to 80 cities from 53 countries.

New Member Cities : Dec. 8, 2008

The Board of Directors of the League of Historical Cities has approved two historical cities as new member cities of theLeague : Lutsk (Ukraine) and Sheki (Azerbaijan) . The League of Historical Cities enlarged the membership to 78 cities from 52 countries.

New Member Cities : Jun. 12, 2008

The Board of Directors of the League of Historical Cities has approved five historical cities as new member cities of theLeague : Gongju (Korea), Lviv (Ukraine), Minsk (Belarus), Odessa (Ukraine) and Osmangazi (Turkey) . The League of Historical Cities enlarged membership of 76 cities from 51 countries.

Next World Conference of World Historical Cities 2010: Jun. 12, 2008

The Meeting of the Board of Directors of the League of Historical Cities was held in Konya, Republic of Turkey, in June 2008, and approved that the City of Nara, Japan will host the 12th World Conference of Historical Cities in 2010. The outline of the 12th Conference will be discussed in the Meeting of the Board of Directors to be held in 2009 in Nara.
